On behalf of the Florida Turfgrass Association’s board of directors, it is my privilege to invite you to join us for the 66th Annual FTGA Conference & Show at the World Golf Village Renaissance St. Augustine Resort. Thank you for your positive feedback from last year’s debut of the “Industry Networking” format. This year’s Industry Networking will once again allow the industry partners and attendees the opportunity to interact and make great connections throughout the event. The always-popular golf tournament will be played on Monday, September 17, on the famous Slammer & Squire golf course. Dust off the sticks and join us for some great fun and some greater golf.

This year, we’re pleased to announce the Florida GCSA is partnering with the FTGA for the Opening Reception. Our education committee chair, Dr. Laurie Trenholm of the University of Florida, has put together some great guest speakers and education sessions in all the turfgrass segments: Golf, Lawn and Landscape, Sod and Athletic Fields. This year, the FTGA will debut business sessions
to sharpen your business skills.

In addition to the regular presentations, attendees can choose to attend the CORE CEUs Workshop, the Golf BMP Workshop, and/or the Sports Turf & Landscape Tour. Our annual Corn Boil is another great opportunity for some additional networking and camaraderie and is sure to be another can’t-miss event. During the Corn Boil, the ever-popular raffle will take place, and you will not want to miss the opportunity to take one or more swings at the Hall of Fame Challenge Hole, a 132-yard island green reminiscent of the famous 17th hole at TPC Sawgrass—all to benefit the Florida Turfgrass Research Foundation.

Please mark your calendars and join me for this excellent opportunity to relax, connect and learn with the industry’s best. I look forward to seeing and meeting you all in September.

Sincerely,

Brad Holler
FTGA Vice President
Conference & Show Chairman
